Limited Warranty

Passenger & Light Truck Tires

MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY

What Is Covered & For How Long?

All tires supplied by Finalist, subject to the terms, conditions and limitations stated below, are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the original usable tread down to 2/32” of tread depth remaining.  A tire is considered worn out when the tread becomes worn to 2/32” anywhere on the tire and will not be credited. Tires found to be defective within the first 2/32” of tread wear will be reimbursed at 100% of the replacement cost for the same or comparable tire supplied by Finalist. Finalist Tires does not send replacement tires. Finalist will credit the cost of tires found to be defective under the circumstances stated herein. Any tires found to be defective beyond the first 2/32” of tread depth will be credited based on the percentage of usable tread depth remaining on the tire.

What's Not Covered?

The cost for mounting, balancing, and other associated services along with any local, state, or federal taxes. Claims for out of round or ride complaint after the first 2/32” of tread depth. Note: It is nearly impossible to have four tires on one vehicle and all four have ride condition problems. The vehicle should be inspected, and the problem tire isolated. Four tires from one vehicle submitted for ride complaint may be denied. Tires branded “BLEM” or “NA” for cosmetic reasons, tires worn beyond 2/32” of remaining tread anywhere on the tires that are more than 5 years beyond the date of manufacture may be denied. Tires that are acquired as used (purchased used, equipped on a pre-owned vehicle, etc.) may be denied. Tires that are damaged resulting from road hazards, such as impact damage, cuts, snags, punctures, scuffs, nails, potholes, and chuckholes, etc. may be denied.

Tires that are damaged due to conditions resulting from improper installation, misapplication, the use of an improper rim, improper mounting or demounting, or wheel misalignment are not covered. Tires with irregular or mechanical wear conditions are not covered. Ozone or weather checking beyond 4 years from the date of the manufacture is not covered. Tires damaged from misuse, such as underinflation, overloading, overdeflection, abuse, excessive speed, accidents, failure to follow recommended tire rotation practices, or improper tire and vehicle maintenance, are not covered. Tires used in any commercial, racing, or off-road applications are not covered.

MILAGE WARRANTY

What Is Covered & For How Long?

The limited warranty only applies to a customer if they are the Original Purchaser on or after March 1, 2024, and the tires have been used only on the vehicle on which they were originally installed according to the vehicle manufacturer’s recommendations. This warranty is nontransferable. This warranty applies to Finalist tires listed below, which are warranted against wear out up to the mileage coverage shown. The actual mileage you get from your tires may vary because of driving habits and road conditions. If one of the tires listed in this warranty wears out before the listed mileage Finalist will adjust the tire on a pro-rata basis. “Wear Out” means that the tire’s tread has worn evenly down to the tread wear indicators (2/32” of an inch of tread remaining). “Pro-Rata” for this Tread Wear Out Coverage is measured by the odometer readings at the time of the tire’s purchase, as printed on the original tire sales invoice, and at the time of replacement.

FINALIST UN-CUV: 50,000 MILES

The tread life limited warranty only applies to you if you are the original purchaser and the tires have been used only on the vehicle on which they were originally installed according to the vehicle’s manufacturer’s recommendations. EV vehicles do NOT qualify for mileage warranty. You will receive a credit based upon the dealer’s replacement price based on the percentage of actual mileage driven to the mileage covered. Your replacement cost will be determined by dividing the actual mileage driven by the miles warranted and multiplying the result times the current selling price.
